Carryon allowance

I will be in business class from ATL to CDG. My rolling bag is borderline (technically over the limit) on Delta, but I have never had a problem bringing it on. Do you feel I will have a problem at check in or the gate?

You will be dealing with Delta staff at ATL, so you probably have as good a feel for whether your bag will be allowed as anyone.

Depends on local ground staff, I can't comment on DL staff but AF almost never enforce cabin baggage policy for J pax.
