Tight connection at CDG

I arrive at CDG from DOH on Qatar at 07.25. I'm booked on a KLM flight to AMS at 09.30, but I'm a bit worried about the T1-T2 connection. Is this do-able??? I'm on separate tickets, but will be hand baggage only.

Many thanks.

It is doable if everything goes well but certainly not particularly safe (less than I would book myself in similar conditions). Your connection will involve two successive busses (green and blue lines, the first of which is not particularly frequent), passport control and security recheck. If your QR is on time then great, if it is one hour late you can start taking out your credit card.

As you said, doable but not extremely comfortable. But in this case, I would rather go landside T1 and take the CDGVAL to T2 rather than taking 2 busses. And doing this does not involve more formalities as, in any case, OP needs to go through immigration and security whatever he/she's staying airside or going landside.

I think there is to say for both options. The problem arriving from DOH on the A380 is that if op is not sat at the front, exit immigration at that hour at T1 takes absolutely ages. In my experience, transit immigration is slightly faster. I would similarly expect transit security to be faster than 2F security at about 8ish which is again a heavy departure time. That said, while I think I'd personally stick to the airside transit, I also see why you would select the landside route yourself!

I'm sitting in the front cabin upstairs, so should be off quickly, but I'll see if I can get it changed. Thanks for your help!

I take in CDG Always 3 hours; even if on 1 ticket. I prefer to have 1 hour too much (which i can work in the lounge) then to get on a next flight and possible waiting even more time. On average this saved me time.
