Paid access options for AF lounges are displayed after the lounge list.

EUROPE
France

    • Terminal 2F (Schengen)
    • Terminal 2G (Schengen) : More info here.

La Premire lounge is located in 2E-K and is subjected to special rules for access (P pax on AF-operating flights only, or capacity-controlled paid access for J pax flying on an AF-operating flight without P class).
    • Terminal 2C : arrival lounge, located landside at the extreme right of the terminal, after the last check-in counter, just before the corridor leading to 2A. Haven't seen this mentioned any where else:

Beginning on Monday, October 29, 2018 for a period of six weeks, the Air France lounge in Terminal 1 at New York-JFK will be temporarily closed for refurbishments and will reopen in mid-December. Once completed the lounge will feature an enhanced area to host the very popular “Night Service,” in which Business class customers can enjoy full meal service on the ground before their flight allowing them to rest on board without interruption.

Air France has made the following arrangements for customers looking to access its lounge during this time:
  • La Premire customers holding reservations are invited to visit the Korean Air Lounge and will continue to be assisted by Air France staff for the duration of their trip.
  • Business class customers holding reservations are invited to visit the Lufthansa Business Lounge located in Terminal 1 just past the TSA security checkpoint on the left-hand side.
  • Elite Plus customers will be accommodated in our SkyTeam partner lounges subject to availability.

I flew through IAD in P earlier this week and indeed we were escorted to the VS lounge. They have blocked off the upper deck of the lounge solely for P, which has a table for 4, a smaller table for 2, and about 4-6 other seats. Service was great, with wait staff checking in every 15 min or so (and AF staff every 30 min or so), and pre-departure food was quite good and wine/champagne passable. I haven't flown through IAD in the old set-up so don't have a point of comparison, but for a US outstation this was one of the better experiences I've had.

LYS - OS codeshare

I used the AF codeshare on the LYS->VIE codeshare operated by Austrian Airlines.
At Check-In, none of the OS staff had a clue whether I could access any lounge. The nice Lounge dragon gave me plenty of details.

Name of the lounge : Salon Confluence
The Terminal 1 also has a Salon Montblanc after additionnal security. Pax allowed in either lounge can go from one to the other if they need a facility from lounge X while they are at lounge Y and vice-versa.

Location : After security, pass the duty free area, go to gate B05.

Opening Hours : 05:00 to 20:00.
Montblanc is opened until 22:15.

Entry requirements:
Tricky part here. Usual Staralliance requirements.
As a AF codeshare pax: With a FB Plat card, you can enter alone (I assume it is the same for FB Gold). With a Business flight, you can enter under Austrian Airlines requirements.
Otherwise 28.
Note: because the data sharing from AF to OS didn't work properly, OS IT system had no clue I was supposed to access the lounge. The Lounge Dragon fixed my status (IT stuff we don't have to care about). So, even though your boarding pass might not say anything, you are entitled for lounge access.

Food offer : On the evening: cold cuts, starters, few hot foods, croissants and breads, candies.

Drinks offer : softs, French wines, liquors, coffee and tea.

Services
Wifi: Yes, password at the counter. You have to connect to the general wifi AEROPORTDELYON and enter the VIP password.
Showers: No. If required, you may may ask to move to the Salon Montblanc for one.
Toilets: Yes, behind the lounge dragon counter.
Quiet zone: Yes. More like a comfy zone.
Lungers/sleep area: No
Business area: Yes
Spa: No
TV area: Two TVs easy to spot, no sound. No TV on sight from the "quiet zone".
Passengers are called: No
Information screen: Yes
Newspapers: Yes. Also somewhere else, a short selection of books about Lyon.

Other information
Number of seats: ~70 seats
Level of noise: very low. While being cheap, the lounge had so few people when I came by, and the one on the phone was quiet.
Design: I'd love to take a picture. A mix of usual lounge design, and a comfy mansion. One of my favourite lounge design so far, and the wall of black&white old times Lyon pictures adds a je-ne-sais-quoi.
For the record, in order to redesign the Air France lounge (currently in progress), the designers visited this lounge.

Sadly it was forbidden to take pictures. The lounge dragon tried to call the manager for permission and never got to reach that person, so it was still a NO.

Tomorrow, I will try the KLM lounge at VIE, we'll see how it goes.

Not sure this has been discussed, but apparently Air France partnered with the Chateau de Versailles to revamp the La Premire lounge, as well as its menu and dishware. It looks quite interesting based on the promotional pictures, and although completely unnecessary I think it's a pretty cool move, especially for wealthy foreigners that should be happy to have this extra French flair.

It doesn't look temporary as far as I can see, so whoever visits please report back .

That does sound excellent. I'll be in there just before Christmas and will report back if nobody else does. Thanks for the info.

AUH - Al Dhabi lounge - Terminal 1

Name of the lounge
Al Dhabi lounge

Location
Terminal 1. Directly accessible from Terminal 3, follow signs for Terminal 1, around a 10 minute walk between the terminals

Opening Hours
24/7

Entry requirements
Usual Skyteam requirements. Although I was travelling on a KL marketed EY flight, Air France said I could use the lounge and indeed that worked, this despite KLM telling me no lounge access when travelling on non-Skyteam metal!

Food offer
Self service hot buffe asian/middle eastern style. Around 4 different choices. 'Signature choice' during my visit was chicken biryani. I think 2 or three other dishes were available plus a pot of rice.
Cold salad buffe.
Various small deserts, plus a tray of something I wouldn't automatically associate with the middle east - bread and butter pudding.
Overall a good quality selection.

Drinks offer
Various soft drinks available inside the self service fridge in dining area.

Separate bar area with a staffed bar. Choice of 3 red wines and I think 3 whites, champagne. 15-20 liquors. 2 beers - the oh-so-popular Heineken, and if you thought it could only get better, Fosters! Coffee available to order too.

Bar service was very good, the 2 bar tenders regularly came round to check on guests and top up drinks without needing to ask. Not so quick to clear away plates (although this was the bar area not the dining area).

Services
Wifi: Yes, worked well, around 2-3 MB/s download speed.
Showers: Yes
Toilets: Yes
Quiet zone: Yes
Loungers/sleep area: Didn't notice any.
Business area: Apparently so, but again didn't notice.
Spa: Massages available for purchase, 75 AED for a short (20-30 mins? Can't remember). 150 AED for a longer one, again can't remember the duration.
TV area: Several screens in all the areas, although all screens were silent from what I could tell.
Passengers are called: No
Information screen: Yes
Newspapers: Didn't notice

Other information
Number of seats: 100 - 150?
Level of noise: Loud in the bar (although it was from 2 noisy groups when we arrived, it was much quieter after they left). Reasonably quiet in the dining and third room.
Design: Long corridor passing three rooms, each separated from each other by a wall. The first room seems to be the quiet room and more enclosed from the corridor. Second room is the dining area, fully open to the corridor. Final room is the bar area with a small opening from the corridor I guess to reduce the amount of noise escaping which seemed to work.

View: No windows
Multi floors: No
Terrace: No
Smoking area: No
Direct boarding: No

thank you ! This is an interesting case (KL-marketing/EY-operating) and its good to know that you had lounge access. So do you think we can extrapolate this to the situation AF-marketing/EY-operating (AUH-CDG) ? The difference between the 2 situations being that KL does serve AUH, while AF doesnt.
