Paid access options for AF lounges are displayed after the lounge list.

Can anyone give me an update on the lounge at MAN T3? Is it still the delightful 1903? I need something to cheer me up before getting the early FlyBe to CDG!
Edit: And the answer is....Yes, at least on Feb 26th. Nice scrambled eggs!

That is good news. Please let AF know you appreciate the chance to use the lounge as they're monitoring feedback. Fingers crossed it's still available in March.

Update on LYS lounge: they don't have the approval to start working on the new lounge (French Bureaucracy at its finest...), so they don't expect anything finished before June. No dates confirmed.

I asked the lounge dragon this morning and she said to not expect anything to be ready before September...

This has probably been already reported on these very pages but there's finally some good news for those like myself flying out of SCL quite often (and having to endure either the Pacific or, possibly even worse, the Sky Club) - Sky Team is to open its own branded lounge before the end of this year, however I did ask at the airport in Santiago on my way to Rome on Alitalia the other day and it seems that the lounge will be ready by September ^

Thanks AlicorporateUK. This is great news (not yet reported here ). The DL SkyClub is really a dump place.
Skyteam website indeed confirms this but says that it will open "before the end of the year". It also mentions that Skyteam will have also a lounge in the new Istanbul airport (lounge will be twice larger than the IST one) and that all Skyteam airlines will transfer their operations to this new airport. So the current IST Skyteam lounge will close.

BTW, just flew into LAX on La Premiere today, great flight as always. My escort told me that AF J passengers in LAX will now use the QF J lounge as of *today*, Nov 1st. Obv can't verify as I wasn't traveling in J, but that should be a nice upgrade from the KE lounge.

She also mentioned that AF will build their own lounge there in the next two years.
No-J passengers out of LAX on AF are directed to One World Lounge, which is far better that KE. Only F passengers get to use Qantas Lounge.

Thumbs up new AF CDG 2E-L lounge

As promised, here are some pictures of the beautiful newly renovated CDG 2E-L lounge. It is only half-open at the moment. Full reopening is scheduled for June 2018.
It is really nice. AF has sone a great job there.
The entrance has changed (but I don’t know if this will be permanent or if it is just a temporary entrance during the renovation work). When you pass security in L concourse, you have to go to the extreme right and you will see signs for the lounge.

In the access coridor, it’s a huge TV wall displaying small bubbles mimicking a Champagne glass. Well done. Then you arrive in the main room. Similar design as in 2G or ORY hall 2 lounges. There is an open kitchen area which was not in function when I was there (it was outside meal times).

Then you have corridors leading to :
- the Clarins spa (bigger than before) where you can register for a massage via an I-pad
- restrooms, showers
- some quieter smaller rooms
- a rest area similar as the one in the P lounge
- and the private room for Ultimates … with its private bar and newspaper/magazines selection !

One personal criticism : all the secondary area of the lounge are blind (no window).
Again, big thumbs up to AF for making such a nice lounge ! ^ ^ ^

And now, the pictures

The main room :

The F&B/kitchen area

Toilets, showers, spa :

Resting area :

Other lounge area :

And the Ultimate private room :

You may not believe me, but I forgot to take a picture inside. But you can find one in the Ultimate thread, taken by Macaron54 (post #1069 page 72, or use the following link).

Recents reports on ORD? Specifically, the food

My last few trips I have eaten before departure and skipped the meal

Will the lounge do or should I hit a restaurant on the way to the lounge? Any recommendations?

Departing from RUH recently, it seems AF does not use the Alfursan lounge anymore in RUH, but a 3rd party contract lounge. Tried to go to Alfursan lounge first but was refused entry. Did bring up SkyTeam rules and show my platinum card but lounge dragon could not care less as the other lounge name was printed on BP...

Anyways, here is what i have on the other lounge:

Name of the lounge
Wellcome Lounge (T2)

Location
On the right after security

Food offer
Decent hot options based on middle eastern cuisine. Didn't try the food as we ate at the hotel before leaving for the airport though.

Drinks offer
Soft drinks and hot drinks (self service)

Services
Wifi: Yes
Showers: Yes (paid option)
Toilets: Yes
Quiet zone: Yes
Business area: Yes
Spa: Yes (paid option)
TV area: Yes
Passengers are called: Yes
Information screen: Yes
Newspapers: none visible

Number of seats
80-90

Design
Flashy design, blue and green. Lots of wood touches.

Level of noise
Open on terminal area so very very noisy, especially with constant passenger calls from outside the lounge.

Other information
Honestly not very clean. Cleaning service looks to be reduced in late evening and during the night when the Europe-bound longhauls depart and plates and glasses seem to pile up.
One of three PriorityPass lounges. If you have a PriorityPass and want a calmer and cleaner lounge, go to the Plaza Premium lounge instead via the T2-T1 connector.
Day beds and private rooms available for an extra fee (as with pretty much any service beyond food and drink in this lounge)

Well now they don't know what estimate to give anymore. The current owner of the venue (la Chambre des Commerces de Lyon) for future lounge is going back and forth between letting Air France use said venue or not, at this rate nothing will be finished before January 2019.

France at it finest.

Two questions, if I may, regarding lounge availability for GOLD passengers travelling on AF.

1. At TRN, is the AZ lounge, mentioned in the WiKi still available for AF GOLD passengers (specifically travelling TRN-CDG)?

2. At ORY unless I misunderstand, there is a AF lounge in Hall 3 for non-Schengen flights and one in Hall 2 for Schengen flights. Do all AF Schengen (including domestic flights --specifically interested in MPL) depart from Hall 2? I would expect not, so is there a lounge available for GOLDs travelling on flights departing from Hall 1? I realize that there is a so-called Premium Lounge, but it's unclear whether GOLDs have free access to this.

Thanks in advance for any information on either of these.

1) I would say yes, but in case there is a change for the lounge, please let us know
2) not all Schengen AF flights depart from Hall 2. Some are in halls 1 and 4. For hall 4 : no lounge. You will be fine to MPL as this is a Navette flight, so in hall 2. And the hall 2 lounge is nice

According to Air France, the Piemonte Lounge is available at TRN.

indeed. Thank you for checking. I checked the TRN airport and AZ websites and it seems there is no more AZ lounge in TRN. Only this Piemonte lounge (which looks nice on the pictures displayed on the airport site).
