Same for me today. I was informed that they stopped to give vouchers at MRS. The friendly woman at the checking informed me that she will credit some miles on my account. Few minutes later, I saw 3000 miles sent by the service client on my account.

Has anyone tried the lounge in NCE recently?
Will fly NCE-ORY soon, but given the huge number of flights coupled with the social distancing requirements, I fear that the lounge is probably always full ?

Huge number of flights ??? seriously ? not in pandemic times. And flights very far from being full. However, full flights could be expected between tomorrow (wed) and sunday because of the long Ascension break. Lounge is certainly not full and it's relatively big. Last tile I was there was just before Christmas and half of the lounge was closed. They can still reopen this part in case of "crowd".

Yesterday evening, flight LYS-NCE was overbooked. Staff was looking for volunteer disembarked and offer voucher or money + lodging to leave this morning.
AF put a CRJ1000 instead of a A320 normally.

As usual, thanks for your useful insights.
Indeed I will fly NCE-ORY this Sunday which is - as you rightly said - the end of a long break. And I am surprised to see afternoon and evening NCE-ORY/CDG flights departing literally every 10min. Hence my wording ''huge''
Compared to the 2 daily flights CFE-CDG I am accustomed to in recent times, it certainly is a significant difference!

Won't open while there are border controls in France because it's in the International Zone.
Might be "never" if AF operations are moved to Terminal 1 as planned pre-Covid.

There are a couple of wonderful lounges at T1. I always like flying out of T1. I don't know their status under COVID though as I've only flown AF/KL lately out of LYS.

That's true. The Skyteam lounge in T1 is better than the current AF one in T2. And when it opened, it was orders of magnitude better than the infamous former T2 lounge. I'm just a bit worried about its capacity when all AFKL pax start joining the SU crowd (+ PP holders if I recall correctly).

I don't recall a Skyteam lounge, but there are the LYS operated lounges, schengen and non-schengen, that many airlines have access to. Like the Confluence lounge. They have (or had) hot food. Blanquette de Veau no less. Also mini-pizzas, rice, pasta and ratatouille, etc. And yes they accept PP, but I always accessed them with airline status or a business class BP. Never saw them full back in the pre-COVID days.

I think we are talking about the same one. I used to visit it while flying Aeroflot so I associated it with ST but you're right, it's actually not just a ST lounge.
Food was good, it was new (the whole T1 is), and overall felt very pleasant. Anyway any lounge will be better than the current no-lounge-no-restaurant situation in T2

Might be "never" if AF operations are moved to Terminal 1 as planned pre-Covid.
I don't understand. AF lounge in LYS is not in international zone

AF closed their "patio" lounge at LYS long ago. They then offered access to one of the LYS managed lounges which is behind passport control these days. I'm sure they will have a solution for both AF and KL eventually. Maybe at T1.
