Paid access options for AF lounges are displayed after the lounge list.

EUROPE
France
  • CDG : AF lounges in
    • Terminal 2F (Schengen)
    • Terminal 2G (Schengen) : More info here.
    • Terminal 2E (non-Schengen) : one lounge in each concourse (K, L, M gates).Pictures of the renovated L lounge can be found here. La Premičre lounge is located in 2E-K and is subjected to special rules for access (P pax on AF-operating flights only, or capacity-controlled paid access for J pax flying on an AF-operating flight without P class).
    • Terminal 2C : arrival lounge, located landside at the extreme right of the terminal, after the last check-in counter, just before the corridor leading to 2A. This lounge has specific access rules and there is a specific thread about this lounge. This lounge is definitely closed. No arrival lounge facility is currently available for AF/Skyteam pax ending their journey in CDG (usual lounges are still available for transit pax).
Note that, among Skyteam partners :
- KL, AZ, UX depart from T2F and use AF lounges.
- ME, DL, VN, CZ, MU, RO, AM, KE, KQ depart from T2E and use AF lounges.
- SU and SV depart from T2C, where AF is not present anymore. So those airlines are using the contract lounges available in this terminal.
- OK departs from T2D, where AF is not present anymore. OK is using the contract lounge (SheltAir lounge) available in this terminal. (NO GUESTS ALLOWED FOR AF-TICKETED PAX on OK-SERVICE)
- AR, GA, CI and Xiamen do not serve CDG.

It looks very nice, AF seems to have a clear strategy to push Orly with investment and it shows
Wonder if they will be looking to find a solution for a second Schengen lounge as the two new Munich dailies will be departing from Orly 3 as well.

BOG - Bogota El Dorado lounge (T1)

Name of the lounge: Bogota (BOG) - El Dorado lounge

A quite poor lounge, with a strange design and some restricted access areas. Nothing memorable. If you like the style from the 70’s, you’ll appreciate for sure those cow skin chairs...

Location: Terminal 1, airside, on the right when leaving the duty free area, near gate 47.

Opening Hours: 24/24

Entry requirements : Usual ST requirements. But this lounge has a restricted access for the “restaurant”. I was flying J on AF, and had access to it. I don’t know if a ST E+ traveling in Y has access to it. When you check-in at the lounge entrance; if you are eligible to the restaurant, they put a sticker with a barcode on your BP and you can access once (no worries to have, you don’t want to go there more than once...). If you don’t have free access to the restaurant, you can pay for it. Also they give you vouchers for alcoholic drinks and you are limited to 2.

Food offer

In the non-restricted part of the lounge, there is a small buffet with limited cold items choice.

To go to the restaurant part, you need to walk almost to the end of this long corridor (the bar is at the very end). They really want to discourage pax to eat and drink . Entrance and exits are separated, one at each end of the zone. To enter you need to scan the barcode given at the entrance. It never works, so you need to attract the attention of the staff inside to open the door. Once in you feel like being in a cafeteria of a gas station along the expressway. Very depressing atmosphere. And for the food offering, really nothing to write home about. If you don’t have free access, never pay for this.
Also, do not expect to have a glass of wine with your meal while at the “restaurant”, it’s not possible

Drinks offer

As said before, you have 2 vouchers for alcoholic drinks that you can redeem at the bar at the end of the very looonng corridor, or at this small (attended) wine station. For non-alcoholic drinks, it is the usual suspects

Air France lounges are good but not the contract lounges

i am Flying Blue for Life, so the highest possible with Flying Blue. Before the lounges were owned by airfrance almost everywhere and after few weeks in a country, i was so happy to find the french touch : champagne and good food, but it's over.
Money first, and today few are left outside of Paris CDG where is the quality is good at Terminal E , the lounge in terminal F for domestic flights is more basic but more acceptable than the contract lounges.
I had all kind of bad experiences with the contract lounges everywhere in the world : junk food forever with chips, beer, bad wine, industrial food - this is the normal situation and i just use Wifi (sometimes not working), sometimes with a beer but i never touch the food
i had more weird situations , in Saint Marteen , Caribbean when i tried the wine, just good to make vinegar, and they requested money for a beer ! and another lounge in Africa where it was shared by all customers of all airlines and there was no seats available
so the "money and benefits" target of all airlines pushed them to share the lounges with all airlines : so how do you make the difference with your competitors if you share the same (bad ) lounge with the awful junk food. And what about business and first class which paid their tickets a very expensive rate - and the shock is great when they arrived in such miserable contract lounge !
i know it's not Air France, but il will say 2 - 3 years agon the lounges of Emirates were spectacular with "traiteur" good food, champagne and fine chocolates - today, even in Dubai or Paris, it's the same horrible junk food when i tried always to eat heathy.
All airlines are moving to low quality lounges so sometimes it's better to go to the airport bar, or bring a tablet of good black chocolate in your suitcase.
And in a french airport of a large city, the Air France guy offered me a voucher for airport bars when i asked him if the lounge was good. No comments!
Money and benefits first - what else?
we are just wallets on feet - I am trying a lot of airlines at the moment as Air France has become expensive for the quality.

I certainly don’t think you can generalize saying AF lounges are good, contract lounges are not good. There are some very good AF lounges (JFK, IAD, CDG2E-L/M for instance) but there are also some not-so-good (SFO, etc). And same for contract lounges. There are some excellent contract lounges used by AF (JNB, BCN, WAW, etc). And I disagree with the negative trend you are describing. Overall, I believe it is the opposite : lounges are globally improving worldwide. May be you have bad luck visiting only stations where there are mediocre lounges.

3. They are smaller but still good, food selection is more or less the same. Showers are also available at lounges.
4. You will have to pass security to go to the 2E lounges. And it is more than probable that security agents would not let you go through and will direct you directly to 2F.
AF can’t replace the 2F lounges soon enough. They were small, dated, and crowded. The toilet was ridiculously small! Also, there is no toilet in the shower room. Not a pleasant experience.

The construction of the new unique 2F lounge is progressing well. It will open this year.

That would be great. Have you heard anything about a potential opening window? The 2F-2 lounge staff told me not before 2021 at the earliest last November.

I'll be arriving in CDG around 7AM on Saturday with a connection to SVO at 12:45PM. For paid access, is the AF L lounge my best option? PP shows only the Yotel as an option with very poor reviews.

Your profile indicates you’re a DL Diamond which means you are STE+ which allows you free access to the AF lounges when traveling on a ST itinerary. I guess the Yotel is the better place for a nap even if the “lounge” amenities are lacking.

Eek, not sure I've updated that in years. I don't hold any airline status at this point, unfortunately (job change). I think I'll just suck it up at pay the 50 euro, seems the new lounge is pretty nice at least.

Note that paid access is only if space available. And you will be there at the busiest time, so not sure they’ll grant you access. But no risk to try. Also, your flight to SVO will depart either from K or L concourse. So go to your concourse and use the lounge of this concourse.
