Paid access options for AF lounges are displayed after the lounge list.

Name of the lounge Narita Premier Lounge

Location North Satellite 1

Opening Hours 7:30-21:00

Entry requirements usual rules apply

Food offer pretty good - a few warm choices, plus nibbles, desserts, etc.

Drinks offer beers (bottle and draft), choice of wines, choice of sake (including sparkling), 3 Japanese whiskies, but no other spirits. Soft drinks from a machine, plus juices from bottle.

Services
Wifi: yes
Showers: yes (3)
Toilets: yes
Quiet zone: it all seemed fairly quiet
Loungers/sleep area: not that I noticed
Business area: yes
Spa: no
TV area: no, but there were screens dotted about the lounge
Passengers are called: yes
Information screen: yes, but not particularly well-positioned
Newspapers: yes

Other information
Number of seats: 148
Level of noise: low (I was flying on KL364 and there were no other flights around then. Things might be difference when KL362 & AF275 are leaving within 10 minutes of each other)
Design: modern
View: fantastic apron views
Multi floors: there’s a lift up to the lounge, but the lounge itself is all on one floor
Terrace: no
Smoking area: not that I noticed
Direct boarding: no

Surprised not to see this one already reviewed. At the time I visited a nice and very quiet lounge, and I can't express how good the views are. I did get some photo's, but trying to upload them seems to just give me a bunch of broken links. There are some idiosyncrasies (a 'Japanese' room that seems to be unused apart from a Sharp 8k tv demonstrator, marble effect carpet in places), but would we have it any other way? Food seemed at least the equal of the Crown lounge. I didn't try the wine - there was a choice of eight if I remember properly, but they were in a locker with some weird method of dispensing.

I'd be happy to fly back through NRT after this.

Thanks for your review. I think the reason for having no review yet, is that it was the DL SkyClub which was used as a lounge in NRT until recently. And in view of DL leaving NRT soon (they transfer all OP’s to HND), I believe AFKL had to make new arrangements, hence this new lounge.

Ah, that will explain why all the other SkyTeam airlines with similar departure times were using the SkyClub, and I suspect that once DL have pulled out this one will get a lot busier. According to the signs outside only six airlines are currently using it, and there's definitely room for more.

FCO - ROME Fiumicino

Apparently, AZ has renamed their lounges in FCO T1. As per the leaflet given to AFKL pax :
- the Dolce Vita lounge (landside) is now the Casa Italia - Piazza Navona lounge
- the Borromini lounge (airside, near gate D1) is now Casa Italia - Piazza Venezia lounge

Unrelated, but despite AZ being the ground handling agent of AFKL in FCO and AFKL using AZ lounges, AZ does not even care to list AFKL flights on the screens in the lounge
This is real partnership...

Hmm, they must have done this ages ago. The landside lounge was already known as Piazza Navona when I first went there about two years ago.
btw. the security channel the leaflet references is gone for a couple of months too. Now you have to go to the common security (but it has SkyPriority lanes)

Yes, that’s what they say : the main security checkpoint has priority lanes on its left.

I haven't been since my last visit but judging by the absence of communication from ST and the absence of the lounge from the ST website, I assume it's still not open. Moreover, I've read recently about issues for IGA (the consortium which manage the airport) to meet the deadline for some payments due to lower traffic than anticipated...

Thanks. Indeed the ST site still shows the Atatürk lounge...

For people planning a trip to Ljubljana and wishing to know what can be expected now since the Adria Airways bankrupty…

It is now simply a "business lounge" without any mention of Adria Airways. It is very basic and not worth to spend a long time there! 😉

Thanks for the info. Indeed, it looks like a highway cantine

I realise that the lounge at TLS (La croix du sud) has already been reviewed, but I was there this past Sunday and snapped a couple pictures from the 1st floor: Otherwise the infomations posted in the original post are still relevant.

I'll be traveling from ORD-CDG to celebrate American Thanksgiving in Paris, compliments of an insanely good paid economy ticket over last year's Christmas holiday. We'll be traveling with a few friends whose return flights depart CDG a few hours before us. As this will be their first time in France, we'll likely arrange a single shuttle and arrive early to the airport. Based on the AF website, Flying Blue Explorers can purchase CDG lounge access for 50 Euro, pending space. Has anyone recently done this? The lounges look appealing and an early lunch and some wine in the lounge seems like a great way to end a long weekend in Paris. I'm just not sure what the success rate is, meaning how often does AF simply say "sorry - lounge full". Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
