Hi, I'm flying from ORY to MAD with UX (AF ticket).
Since all the changes at ORY, UX flights to MAD now departs ex-Hall 3 international gates (C20, C15...).

Does anyone knows which lounge can I access since all the changes?

From memory i believe the ICARE lounge located in ex-Hall 4/C-Gates on the upper level has an agreement with UX. It is the old AF Hall 4 lounge.

I edited the information for the lounge at IST since the transfer. The new Skyteam lounge is still under construction and the IGA lounge is being used instead.

2E connecting to 2F

So, if we fly into 2E and connect (6 hours) to a flight out of 2F, can we access 2E lounge or only 2F? Thanks!

Zarmakuizz Jul 7, 2019 7:58 am

Only 2F.
Unless you happen to be physically able to reach a 2E lounge, and gets approved by the lounge staff. Both are totally not guaranteed.

Somnifer Jul 7, 2019 8:57 am

What happens if the connecting flight departs from 2D? On one of the codeshares?

Zarmakuizz Jul 7, 2019 12:46 pm

As written in the wiki, you would use the lounge chosen by the operating airline:

OK departs from T2D, where AF is not present anymore. OK is using the contract lounge available in this terminal. (NO GUESTS ALLOWED FOR AF-TICKETED PAX on OK-SERVICE)

LYS lounge closed during weekends...

Not a joke unfortunately...
I was in LYS yesterday (sunday), flying to CDG, and found the AF lounge closed.
I asked an AF agent at a gate and I was told (with noticeable embarrassment and apologies) that it was the 2nd consecutive weekend the lounge was closed...due to a lack of staff. I am guessing it will be the same during the next weekends. :(
No comment...

Indeed. However AFKL Abonnée newsletter (i quoted this in the Orly FAQ) also cited this recently: "et dans un salon éphémère à Orly 2, au niveau 0 de la salle d’embarquement, sous réserve de places disponibles.". I haven't been to Orly recently so i have not been able to confirm this information but if it does indeed exist it cant be less depressing than the ICARE lounge.

Yes, when you fly with *A and have *G or a C ticket... (Also, it's not that new. It's been open for over two years now.)

or is it still the Ana or Blue lounge?
With ST ticket and status, Ana or Blue it is.

Btw, I think the Ana is roughly on par with the TP lounge. Yes, the TP has more natural light and F&B selection is a bit better than at the Ana, but it gets seriously overcrowded. Also, due to its design, there's little privacy to be had at the TP lounge.

Thank you. No its a J/O ticket, so guess it's the ANA Lounge then.I don't know why it's J/O - nothing to do with award tickets, I paid for these tickets outright.

Thank you. I'm still learning with these codes! On the way back I am D/J class.

Never mind, this trip will keep me Gold, which is more important!
