NBO Lounges

It seems there are no description for the NBO lounges (you actually have access to 2 of them, not one : Pride Lounge & Simba Lounge). The review below is for both the Pride lounge (flagship), and the Simba lounge (they offer roughly the same services, except Simba is slightly smaller). All comments apply to both unless otherwise stated. I unfortunately do not have pictures, but you can perhaps link the wiki to this post.

Name of the lounge : Pride Lounge & Simba lounge

Location :
  • Pride Lounge: T1A. Once you clear security, take a left, and a left again after the Duty Free. Go to the end of the terminal, next to gate 17, take a right and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
  • Simba lounge: T1A. Right after Security, take a left, and take the first elevator to your right to the 2nd floor. You’ll be in a corridor where you’ll be directed to the lounge with signs.

Opening Hours : 24/7
Entry requirements : Usual ST requirement (STE+, J) + they serve Rwandair & Precision Air
Food offer : YES, hot and cold offer. Food offer is larger at Pride Lounge.
Drinks offer : YES, soft drinks & alcoholic beverages (including beer), tea, coffee, hot chocolate

Services
Wifi: YES
Showers: YES in the Pride Lounge
Toilets: YES
Quiet zone: YES in the Pride Lounge
Loungers/sleep area: YES in the Pride Lounge
Business area: YES in the Pride Lounge
Spa: NO
TV area: YES (there is also one in each smoking room)
Passengers are called: NO
Information screen: YES
Newspapers: YES - Selected local and international newspaper (can’t recall if FR/NL was available)

Other information
Number of seats: don’t know precisely, but they advertise 315 guest combined (I’d guess 2/3 for the Pride Lounge, 1/3 for the Simba Lounge)
Level of noise: Low in Simba Lounge, medium in Pride lounge at international rush hour (early morning and late evening)
Design: Modern, large and clear with African touch in Pride Lounge, classic business lounge in Simba
View: YES in both.
Multi floors: NO
Terrace: NO
Smoking area: YES
Direct boarding : NO

Paid access: YES for both, USD 40 Dollars, only if invited by a guest who already have access to the lounge.

FYI - 2G lounge at CDG will be closed for renovation work from July 1st to July 14th this year.

From AF’s website:
FROM 1 TO 14 JULY, OUR LOUNGE IN TERMINAL 2G WILL BE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS.
During this time, we are pleased to offer you a food voucher. Ask for your voucher at the customer service counter in the boarding area.

Thanks for the info. Seems weird as this lounge is very recent and so shouldn’t need any renovation. It is certainly something minor as the closing period is short.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh...
I have 2 1/2 hrs in 2G between 2 flights coming up next week. even with a voucher, it is not as if there are plenty of nice places to use it at 2G. I don't quite see myself 2.5 hrs in a starbucks (in fact, I don't see myself setting foot in a starbucks at all if truth be told...)

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

The Wife was there today and says it was full of fruit flies so seems reasonable they might be spending those weeks 2 weeks catching them or otherwise dealing with the issue.

Question for CDG-IST service operated by KK (Atlas Global), departing from CDG 2C : does FB Elite+ members traveling in Y have lounge access in 2C ?
Thanks

Thanks

Le salon Paris in 2C worked for me in November when travelling on EY with an AF ticket.

I'm a bit confused. If I am flying from SFO -> CDG -> FLO in J, does this mean I cannot access the lounge in 2E and only the one in 2F? Regardless, should i proceed through immigration quickly and not stay at 2E even if I am allowed to?

Assuming FLO is Florence, so FLR instead of FLO, yes you have to go to 2F and use the lounge there.

Default process is that you go to the lounge in the terminal you're leaving from (2F in this case). There are however reports of people who managed to stay in 2E, while others got rejected. So if you have enough time why not just giving it a try.

Next week I'm flying in J on AF metal and have a 4 hour 2E->2G connection in CDG, so I'm affected by the 2G lounge temporary closure.

Would my only lounge option be 2C arrivals at this point? Or would they be more lax in enforcing the same-terminal-as-depature lounge access policy with nothing open in 2G?

Bonus Question: Am I allowed arrival lounge access at my final destination in BLL?

In your specific case it definitely worth to give it a try (while it doesn't make sense IMHO in the previous case exposed). They will likely be more lax.

I have never been in BLL but, without taking risks, I think I can answer no with 99.999% likelihood. Indeed, arrival lounges are a concept you see only in hubs by the dominant airline in this hub. So, no way you can have an arrival lounge flying AF in a secondary airport like BLL (I am sure that even SK doesn't have an arrival lounge there).

Thanks ! My layover is 4 hours, is it worth it? How much time should I budget to transfer through immigration and customs? There was an hour and 50 min layover option but I was worried that would be too short

No, IMHO.

From 5 to 90 min in the morning, seriously. In the afternoon, more in the 10-20 min range.

Hi, I'm flying from ORY to MAD with UX (AF ticket).
Since all the changes at ORY, UX flights to MAD now departs ex-Hall 3 international gates (C20, C15...).

Does anyone knows which lounge can I access since all the changes?
