STR AF Lounge
I don't see any review for this lounge, although I understand it doesn't deserve a particular attention.
STR Stuttgart airport
Name of the lounge
Air France Lounge
Location
After security at terminals 3 or 2, go to the right. From there, take stairs or elevator.
(Preferably 2 as it is always empty. Luggage drop is at Terminal 3 but everybody checks security there. A few times I saw up 30 minutes queuing estimation for Terminal 3 security, and nobody at Terminal 2.)
Opening Hours
5:00 to 19:00
The lounge is guaranteed to be crowded when a DL flight is about to leave in a couple of hours, or after a beer fest (Wasen, Frühlingfest, etc).
Entry requirements
Usual Skyteam requirements.
Food offer
As of recently (it appeared a few months ago), simple warm lunches are available, such as vegetables&rice and meatballs.
Small biscuits, sandwiches, fruits salad, etc., available all the time.
Drinks offer
Coffee machine, soft drinks, wines and spirits.
Services
Wifi: Yes. Was unstable a few times, so I logged in to the Lufthansa lounge wifi instead. It seems it has been fixed in the meantime.
Showers: No
Toilets: No, but some are available at the front of the Lounge
Quiet zone: No
Loungers/sleep area: No
Business area: No
Spa: No
TV area: Yes
Passengers are called: No, but sometimes I saw them calling for flights.
Information screen: Yes, but no filtering on AF/KL/DL flights
Newspapers: Yes, a few German ones, behind the entry desk. I didn't spot them at first sight.
Other information
Number of seats:16 leather chairs, around 5-6 tables have seats.
Level of noise: Low, it's often empty
Design: Typical design
Multi floors: No
Terrace: No
Smoking area: No
Direct boarding: No
Pictures available:

Name of the lounge : ARN T2 - Aurora Menzies lounge
This was my 2nd vsit in this contract lounge. I remember i was not very enthusiastic about it the 1st time, but this one was even worse. A total scandal . I arrived about 1.5 hrs before boarding and every single place was full of dirty plates, glasses and leftover food/drnks. The staff was just starting to collect all this when I arrived and it took them a while to do it and, obviously, it had not been done for a long time.
After looking for not-too-dirty place to seat, if you want to eat or drink something, then another interesting moment starts…
Nothing to eat except a few remaining (non-appealing) slices of ham and cheese (all stands and shelves were totally empty )
So a pathetic experience. This is the only lounge in this terminal, so airlines have unfortunately no choice. I hope AF/KL do not pay too much for this crap. I have sent a complaint to AF, but 1.5 months after, I am still awaiting a response from them.

When I entered the lounge, there were plenty of seats where one could seat that were not dirty, there were also quite a lot of dirty plates everywhere however they were in the process of cleaning it, and for the next 1.5 hours I stayed in the lounge they did so often enough.
As for food, they had a few options, they had a lasagna, potatoes, meat balls and various salad stuff in addition to cold cuts, breads & fruits, while it's not the most exciting food, it is better than e.g. MXP airport lounge, and I dare say even better than KL crown lounge in AMS.
They also have a menu specifying that they have:
- Breakfast buffet form 05:15-11:00
- Lunch buffet from 11:00-18:30
- Cheese buffet from 18:00-21:00
It sounds as if in your case, they brought the cheese "buffet" a bit too late, I was there in the midst of their "lunch buffet"

I don't know if you caught them on a bad day, or I caught them on a good day, but my experience is very different.

thanks for your comments. It seems that it is really hit and miss in this lounge. I have a friend who was there about a month ago. She was not aware of my story there but she sent me a text from this lounge saying that it was a dump place. I spoke with her afterwards and it seems her experience was similar as mine.
It seems that time of day significantly affects the experience one can have in this lounge.

I am not a regular user of the lounge but I have used it a few times, invariably around lunchtime (around 12-1pm) and it has always been fairly quiet, with plenty of seating and no evidence of much dirty crockery around. As to food, my experience was similar to Ditto: clearly not a gourmet offering, but reasonable and noticeably better than the average contract lounge in Europe and, dare I say it, more choice than at AF's CDG 2F lounge.

So then it sounds like they ran out of "lunch buffet" too early, no excuses for that...
BTW, to add to your remark about the tap water, they are now clearly marked in english still/sparkling.
