Seat map not open
 

Hi,

I am flying on AF490 from CDG to ORD, but for some reason the seat map is not open. I can NOT pick a seat anywhere, on AF.com is says "seat assignment at airport"

is there a reason why they are doing this?

When is the flight? Within T-30?
Is this at OLCI of in Manage My Booking?

When is it? Maybe they are changing the equipment, or the flight is oversold?

July 15th and "it is not over sold at all" per agent

just try again in a few days.

Did you try and log in on KLM.com and see if you could get the seat map up there?

Otherwise, do as goldorak(le) suggests as he is always right...

this happens to me when I book my flight through Air France corporate travel agency. For some reasons they are the only one being able to assign seats and therefore I need to call them for seat assignments:td:

Seat maps of some given flights, for reasons unknown to me, are totally out of regular control : Le Club, AF internet helpdesk or klm.com cannot assign the seat, only the airport can do it. The flight you take seems to be part of that.

For some reason I am having the same problem. Flying AF10 on a few weeks, Premium Economy, was assigned a seat and cannot change it. There are still seats available for sale (7).

Follow Goldorak's advice and try again in a couple of days or weeks. I had a similar problem some months ago with a DL codeshare on AF metal, flight was under airport control 2-3 months out and seat selection was not working, but all of a sudden some weeks later seat map worked and I could select a seat.
