It did include ground service in CDG, but I had only a 2.5 hour connection and as tempted as I am to experience the first-class lounge there, it didn't seem long enough to justify the expense.

LIS-CDG
Y - > C
119 Euros
Fare code: N
J9 Y9
Just before check-in closed, there were only 2 occupied seats, however, at the end of the boarding, all business seats were taken, while many Y seats were empty (20% I would say).
Paid upgrades? Op-ups?

It could be staff as well:
- with eco ticket that got gently upgraded onboard by the purser
- with staff ticket confirmed in Y and with C seating upon availability (I think it is typical for AF staff on duty)
- with C staff ticket stand-by (so they paid C at a discount).
Then, if it was an A318 on LIS CDG, i'd rather be at emergency exit in Y than on the first row in C!

Hi,
I have 2 questions regarding OLCI upgrades for an upcoming long haul flight:
- If you have a short haul connecting flight before and proceed to OLCI 30h before the first flight, is it likely that the upgrade offers already appear for the 2nd flight (long haul)?
- If you don't upgrade and finalize the OLCI, can you later change your mind and do the upgrade or will the offer not appear anymore?
Thanks for your enlightments

In terms of the check in offer/price: does it matter what ticket stock ticket is on or which frequent flier program the ticket is bring credited to?

Reference point - recent price for PE -> J CDG to LAX was €1520 (and this was not on an inexpensive ticket); not offered at OLCI but checked at CDG correspondences desk...
