Lounge for SE to use in MIA?

Hi folks. Does anyone know if AC uses or is allowed to use the Club America lounge for E/SE/J pax in MIA?

yes. But it's outside of security and a long walk to the gates. And from my experience 18 months ago, other than some funky sofas and chairs, it's not worth the walk.

PS there's an old thread here somewhere

I found it by searching on "Club America" and was surprised to find it so easily.

There is a new *A lounge being built in terminal J. Its on the second floor, right above the US and UA gates. I have no idea on the ETA for when it will be opening, but when i travelled through MIA in august the US agent said "soon"

Lounge access eliminated at both MIA & HNL.

My understanding is that "soon" has turned into "on hold indefinitely"...
The only option would be the Delta Skyclub (which is brand new)- if you were flying through MIA frequently I do believe you could buy a membership which is valid as long as you have a boarding pass (at this time not required DL/ST/etc- repeat at this time).
The Club America J is the worst lounge (contract or non contract) at MIA by far and is outside of security to boot.

I flew out of MCO on AC and they had no *A Lounge, and now MIA has no *A and my understanding is FLL also has no *A Lounge. What gives? Florida not *A Friendly.

What happened to the RCC in MCO....was it suspiciously destroyed by a hurricane just like the US Club lounge?

CO will bring PC lounge to FLL when they join in November. UA has basically moved out of Florida except for MCO.

Any recent experience with MIA?

I'll be flying mid July, also have an Amex Plat with Priority Pass which should allow me into the Club America

Club America lounge isn't too nice... The F part is identical to the J part...
I'm not sure if AC gives access (was flying LH F), but you do need to have an invite.

Why not the AC?
