Hmm, CP and AC?
Hi,
As a high school student who don't travel a lot, can somebody here please tell me what's the different between Air Canada and Canadian Airlines? All I know is AC's bigger than CP in general but CP's larger than AC in Western Canada. Anything else..? Thanks.

CP is in big financial trouble and, so far, AC is not.
There used to be competition between the two, but now I fear that AC is increasingly seeing CP as irrelevant. AC is pursuing strategic partnerships, including one with the young upstart Westjet in western Canada, that could further undermine CP domestically.
I have had bad previous experience that shifted my business to AC but loyal CP flyers note a significant improvement in service for business flyers.
CP has been trying really hard and I wish them good luck (may even fly them once or twice this year) -- AC needs serious domestic competition.
