Strike and e-tickets

Wondering if I should start getting concerned
about this Air Canada strike. Have e-ticket
to Toronto the second week of OCTOBER and
since I will be traveling over the previous
two weeks should I consider changing to another airline?

Know of problems with e-tickets and while it's over a month away I'm a Capicorn and like nice and neat plans. (esp since this is a business trip.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. CATMAN

I am absolutely certain that the strike will be over by October. The two sides are so close it is ridiculous. If it persists, I would get a paper ticket in advance -- you still have loads of time. It is one reason that I don't like e-tickets. I have been stuck due to mechanical problems when there was a flight on another airline departing but not enough time to get ticket reissued (e-tickets don't work for other than the issuing airline).

Blonde Bomber... thanks for the advice. Many
flyers I know do not like E-Tickets, but I
like them only for the fast that if I forget
my paper tickets all I have to do is give a
confirmation number and still get my tickets.
Maybe I will relax, but just in case I will
find an Air Canada office in Manhattan (NYC)
and ask for the paper tickets.

This toronto trip is for business and seeing
Les Miz and "The New Red Green Show" (which
has a big fellowing here in New Jersey. I
think he's a HOOT!)

Thanks again and I hope to return your help
in the future... CATMAN
