So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

Similarly, during OLCI:

Vancouver to London: 1198.00 CAD*
* Price per passenger, excluding taxes.
J6

Declined.

I am on Exec Standby as well. I don't mind sitting in the back since it is not full (yet). Will see how it all unfolds. I am batting 100% on trans-oceanic flights the last few years so I guess I can't complain other than I hate having eupgrade wallpaper left at the end of the year

That's a bit higher than usual for this route! Usually hovers around the 1000 mark. HKG used to be around 1300 but the past couple of months is showing up as just under 1000.

AC 034 YVR-YYZ $498 + tax (T+ fare)

Declined @ T-23

This is about $100 more than usual. I wonder if they factor in a premium for the 77L?

LHR-YYZ at T-20, GBP679 (excluding taxes) which appears to be about $1100. Declined (though if anyone happened to have eUpgrade credits that need a home, they would be very gratefully received! )

YVR-HKG

YVR-HKG AC7 28 Dec
$739+tax (accepted)
Original fare: Tango (G)
OLCI at T-23.75h

iirc the fare difference from T to T+ was some $400, so I figure an extra $340 on top of that for J is a reasonable deal. (The G to Z difference fwiw is ~$1350.)
