So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

Declined both segment upgrades.
YYZ-YYC is the lowest I've seen... Perhaps the price is lower for connecting pax?

Also possible that it's because many YYZ-YYC and vv. flights are oversold ATM - summer season. Still many Es and SEs not upgraded today!!

YYC-YYZ $349 declined

Wish I'd spent the $75 to go earlier considering my flight ended up being 1hr 45m late resulting in me not getting home in Toronto till 2 a.m.

I searched around and did not see any information on an LMU ever being posted for MUC?

Does anyone know why this might not be the case. Flight was R3, JCDZ4 about 26 hours out, then RO...big surprise...now JCDZ5 and up to 6 just now at T-about 7 hours and no LMU offered at all after checking in and checking out several times...

To give a comparison - I was purchasing AZO-ORD-YYZ, and looks at Y for 375. J was 450 CAD. There you go. Good value.

$298 + TAX!!!.
Obviously declined. At this rate it would be MORE than if I bought the Z fare. Crazy.

For me I seem to get this route at $169 (from both AE and T+ tickets).

Either amount is far too much for what you get. I can't see how it should be anywhere over $99. But who knows, someone must buy them.

YVR-YYZ, two separate tickets for the same flight, one T, one T+. Checked in for the T ticket first (*S), LMU offered for $598, then checked in for the T+ ticket (*E), LMU offered for $498. This was at T-24. Just thought that was an interesting data point, I know people have wondered about different prices being offered to different fare classes etc.
