So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.
Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.
It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.
Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

LAS-YVR $250 on T+ Declined
YVR-YEG $279 on T+ DECLINED. I've flown this route round trip 10+ times this year and it is the highest I've ever seen.... absolutely ridiculous. J was half full at boarding.

T fare

Thought I'd have the highest seen yet for this sort of route, seems I was wrong.

YYZ-YVR online ckin
T+ fare
$650 on a A321
(why is it higher than YYJ-YYZ, since its a shorter distance, and the above poster was on a T fare?)

YYC-LAS, T-24, $149 (Taken x2=298)
J6R2Y6, T+ Flight Pass (M fare)
Took the upgrade as a special treat for my wife and I on Vegas vacation. Used the iPad App to do the upgrade. Went all the way through, put in the credit card and when I submitted the card, I got an error "An upgrade is no longer available." BUT, the upgrade went through, because when I finished the check in, I checked the seats and we were in J. No credit card authorization when through, no charge was made, and we did indeed get our J seats. So, $298, but really $0.
I guess for all the times I cursed AC IT, I guess I have to stop now. I keep expecting a sudden "Oh by the way, we forgot to charge you" but for now I'm happy. And if they catch it later, oh well.
