So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.
Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.
It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.
Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

Not surprised this number is a bit lower. Ih ave done a couple of YYZ / YUL - CDG and return flights lately and they have been empty. Our last YYZ - CDG flight went out with 9 people in J and 40ish people in Y, on a 767. Have some more flights coming up at the end of the month, so we will see how full they are. Thankfully still showing J9 / R9 so there might be an upgrade out there for us. Would I pay $799, maybe. Not that bad of a price considering the orig fare was only $74 one way before taxes and fees.

If one can live with the restrictions of the discount Executive fare, there is no point of buying Latitude to use eUpgrade, especially when R = 0 frequently. I am not going to buy Latitude to play aerolotto.
The ability to confirm an upgrade by buying Latitude used to be one of the best perks for P, E and SE. I used to consider it as being able to fly Executive class at a discount. Not any more. On many routes, I can now buy Z cheaper than B. That's why on those routes, trying to upgrade from Tango Plus is increasingly difficult. Many P and E who had no hope in fighting the SE in aerolotto used to buy B to upgrade, they are now buying Z. This situation is most prevalent in the Canada-Asia routes.

CAD$349 at T-24
Declined, though sorely tempted at that price.

CAD$189 at T-20 on a reward ticket
Accepted (because it was for my wife and I was already flying up there on an Eupgrade on a rev ticket and this will make my life a lot simpler!)
At seat selection, we were the only 2 in the front.

DFW YYZ AC7992 22 Mar
J7 C7 D7 Z7 Y7 B7 M7 U7 H7 Q7 V7 N7 W7 G7 S7 P0 T7 E0 L7 A7 K7 R7
$269 US
YYZ YVR AC101 22 Mar
J7 C7 D7 Z7 Y7 B7 M7 U7 H7 Q7 V7 N7 W7 G7 S7 P7 T0 E0 L0 A0 K0 R0
$649 US (!!)
Both declined, for obvious reasons, 24 hours before 2nd flight departure.
Edit: AC7992 was at most 1/3 of its capacity. Then, at YYZ, 1.5 hr before departure, the MLL staff were willing to upgrade AC101 for $349. Go figure...

Offerred $799...... still thinking about it....
Flight seems very full so we have terrible seats (33D,34D) not even next to each other. But the downside is that I would be paying for 2 seats.
Hummmmmm...very tempting
