So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.
Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.
It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.
Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

A question for you all.
I have done OLCI every time I fly. Sometimes upgrade offered, sometimes not. I always check in as early as possible.
My question:
If I complete OLCI at the T-24 hour point and LMU is not offered, or is at too high a price for me, can I check in again at say T-6 hours?

My GF was not offered LMU on her FRA-YYZ flight even though she would have liked one. At the airport, she asked the GA if she could purchase one, and they eventually offered it to her for 579 Euros.

Yes. Just go back into OLCI the same way you did the first time and if there is one available the upgrade button will appear just like it should. If there isn't one available, just close the window and go on your merry way.

when the upgrade button appears does that mean you will be flying in first/business class?
do you get status?
I was offered YYZ YEG an upgrade button but there were no details
just a cost of 300 bucks or so
it didn't say if i would get status miles (my flight was Tango=no status miles)

You get status if upgrading from Tango+. No idea if you get some status or miles if upgrading from Tango. It depends in what fare class your Tango ticket was booked.

Just checked the wife and youngest in for YYZ-SRQ tomorrow. LMU offered on T+ fare for $249/passenger.
Since I am not travelling, I declined. Will try to use some of my e-certs for their trip home tomorrow.

Ohh.. I don't like the look of that. I'm doing the redeye on March 3rd and April 21st. Seeing as I have an appointment at 11 am on March 4th, I have a terrible feeling that I will give in and accept pretty much any LMU so that I can get a good nap.
