So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.
Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.
It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.
Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

Sept 18, 2010 - YYC - DFW $219 T +. Offered at 23 hours in advance OLCI. Upgrade costs almost as much as my round-trip ticket ($250 including taxes and fees thanks to the mileage run forum).

I don´t know the official policy, but I have been offered a LMU on award tickets several times, even when having booked the award through a *A partner.

This sounds like a mistake to me.
A LMU to a J pod on the YYZ-YVR route usually costs $349-$399. YYT-YEG is only 500 miles longer.
I can´t imagine they´d charge more for a LMU on YYT-YEG than any of their TATL routes.

Seemed odd to me as well. 2 possibilities I guess (ignoring an outright error): First, it is Thanksgiving Monday and they are pricing it for demand (the flight is packed). Second, they are pricing it as YYT-YOW + YOW-YEG even though it is a direct flight.
