So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

Yes, try OLCI at the 24-hour window and indicate DEN as the departure city.

Has anyone seen this offered recently? I'm trying to strategize for an upcoming trip for two Tango +:
Sept 25 YYZ-LHR - currently R0 but lots of empties on the seat plan

Oct 11 LHR-YVR - currently R9

I have two SSWUs to use and I'd be interested in paying LMU for one direction.

Any advise? Do I wait-list at the 4 day window if it is still R0? Do they offer LMUs if it is R) but there are seats? I suspect we have a better chance using SSWU on the return journey.......

Thanks!

I am pretty sure that they discontinued this program for LHR. Do you have any SWUs? If the Latitude fare is reasonable it might work out to the same to do T+ one way and Latitude the other.

Interestingly offered on a AE reward ticket: YYZ-YHZ $219 + tax on an Embraer. Declined.
I find Y in the Embs as huge, and I did try Emb J once and it's not much larger up front...
MLL and pre-boarding and small food would have been nice, but not worth $219 + tax to me.

Thanks! Already bought the tkts in Tango+ as the price was very good (relatively) and the Latitude was just too much. Sounds like my best bet to get it both ways is try my luck for LMU outbound and use the certs inbound.

YUL-YYZ Sept 12th at $99 on a T+ fare. Offered at OLCI 24 hours before and also at the airport when I had to reprint my boarding pass. Declined as the flight is so short and Y was comfortable enough.
