So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

Why is everybody here on a vendetta against me?!?
It's not even for me, it's for my dad. Usual upgrade is 179 CAD or so, so 258 was out of line!

LOL - no vendetta, just find it funny that you're acting shocked to see a T fare with a higher LMU - you're an SE and should know by now this is how the system works.

Now jon smith who travels greyhound most of the time --- he can be shocked.

Depending on time of day, that's actually not unreasonable.... I'd likely have taken that.

Agreed. YYZ-YVR in Tango, the lowest fare is usually around $199 and the discount Executive fare is usually around $890. The fare difference is therefore about $690. The LMU represents a $240 discount and is a reasonably good deal.

I would disagree unless that is for a pod. Domestic J is nothing to write home about and you can get a row of 3 Y seats for less.
