Is anybody else having the following issue wth the iPhone App?

When checking flight status and selecting Flight date, the calendar does not display any dates in April -- just a blank space followed by dates for May and beyond.

The calendar for flight bookings seems to be okay.

I just tried booking a return flight from YYZ to LAS in August. After hitting purchase they seem to want to fly me to Lisbon! (I don't think the purchase went through - I didn't get an e-mail and no authorization hit my credit card).

LAS, LIS, what's the diff?. I mean really - it's only off by a letter! And look at the pretty picture. ;-)

What a cluster.
Personally I much prefer Lisbon over Las Vegas any day, but to each his own.

Schedule Change Push Notification

I received for the first time a push notification saying “Your booking ABC123 has been revised”

I went in the app and noticed a schedule change (aircraft swap from 320 to 789 on a transcon with minor schedule change -yay!)

10 minutes later, the usual PDF got into my inbox.

Is this something new?

I had about 20 schedule changes a couple days ago, and received nothing in the app or by email. I've never heard of anything like that before, so it sounds new.

Understanding the upgrade list

So the upgrade list that is displayed after OLCI is not in fact the full list, but only those who have actually checked in at any given point. So it has limited value until the flight closes and the list is actually processed. And I'm not sure of the value of displaying the names with green check marks (already cleared?) and those in numbered order (waiting to be cleared?). It's the latter crowd that are really interested.

I'm beginning to think that I preferred the good old fashioned wait and see rather than tortuously watching the priority go down and the seats booked go up. The end result is going to be the same.

Surely knowing more is always better. Also helps you figure out when the GA confirms No. 2 ahead of No. 1.

BTW the app is clear in that it only shows passengers checked in.

As to the check mark, I imagine there will be people otherwise unaware that their upgrade has cleared.

I suspect the "business class" on their boarding pass would be a good indicator

Not if the upgrade cleared after they checked in.

But that is done by the automated process at the gate, where you'd be boarding anyway, and your old BP wouldn't work.

The automated system won't clear waitlisted entries if they're checked in.

I must say that I'm enjoying some of the international connection info now in the app.

On a recent flight with ITD OSS, it even told me that I didn't have to go through Security.

A small feature but nice!

Be Carefull !!! The info provided is not always correct! I almost did not pick up a bag going through customs because the app told me I did not need to!
