How do you automatically add flights to the calendar using the new app?
Edit: figured it out - need to go into Settings -> Preferences and turn on "Calendar Sync". Annoying that the app update didn't migrate the setting.

They do seem to have removed even the semblance of being able to choose seats from the iPhone app however. No do they display your current seat (a downgrade over the previous version of the app). Upgrade list is nowhere to be seen. Although the bug that created a new calendar entry for every flight every time you opened the app seems to be gone. Of course now it forgets that you have checked in occasionally and looses boarding passes. I can't believe even AC released an app this buggy.

We used to be able to keep the flights on our phone calendar on the old app.

I don't have that. It does appear that I spoke too soon about the calendar issue being fixed. I am still getting a new calendar entry for every flight every time I open the app.

Had some with the app last week. Rouge flight from LAS to YVR. 'Home' page of app showed a D Terminal gate. Drilling down on flight showed an E Terminal Gate. LAS flightboard showed a different D Terminal gate.
Since I got there too early, I just chilled in the UA lounge in the D Terminal. Sure enough, the flightboard eventually showed an E2 gate for departure.
Not sure where the app gets its data, but this time it wasn't even consistent with itself. Reminds me why I like the UAL app.

They are looking for a product manager for the app - hopefully they'll hire someone who actually travels: https://aircanada.taleo.net/careerse....ftl?job=17410
