How does IKK work on one-way awards?

It's always bothered me that you can't do one-way awards on Aeroplan at the Classic level. How does this work with SE IKK?

IKK does not exist for one way awards. The awards are Classic Plus - a quick check for YVR-YYZ Jan 23rd is 20,500 miles for a one way segment.

SE are not offered any preferred rates booking one way awards.

Still slightly cheaper than the 25,000 Classic reward return award!

You may want to look at other programs such as BA which offer one way awards at 50% discount from the regular mileage.

It works just fine, you just pay the round trip price.
