Boneheaded move...please help

Hi- I am flying to Las Vegas Tomorrow confirmed AC 593. I wanted to stand by to AC 591. I forgot the "same day" part of same day standby- and I used the web check in a few minutes ago.

Any chance I can "re-check in" and get on the earlier flight after midnight (i.e. same-day?) Or do I have to press my luck at the airport? Any help would be much appreciated.

Go back to the check in on the web and you can reverse your check in. The how to is there if you try and check in again.

If your fare allows changes, once you have checked out you can make changes.

Also, at the airport you can still standby as long as luggage not checked in. The agent can help you.

Fees etc may apply depending on your class of service etc.

Win money and if you win lots this post can be compensated for. No win, this post is free!!!:D

Enjoy

You don't even have to un-check yourself. Just go back in tomorrow and after you enter your data, click on Change. It should then give you an option to standby for an earlier flight. I've done this numerous times with no ill effects.

The only catch, is to try and get to the airport 2 hours before the standby flight. Sometimes it doesn't matter, but that's the recommendation from AC on their web site.
