Nice RCC in LAX ...

... except that there are no power outlets, no free internet, and it's US$6 for a glass of cheap wine.

Makes me pine for a MLL!

But actually not the one at LAX, the MLL is definitely nothing to write home about... NZ lounge next door is much nicer!

Even when I fly united on a long day at lax I just walk over to CO in terminal 6 and use the presidents club for $40 it has all you can drink and free wifi and plenty of power plugs.

Surprising, isn't LAX a United hub?

It can't be worse than the MLL in LAX!. Worst MLL I've ever stepped inside.
As mentioned the NZ lounge right next door is much better, with amazing food, showers, lots of computers and outlets, comfy seats. It's really nice.

Yes it is. However, it should be noted that most RCC are quite "underwhelming" in thier own special way.

With that being said, I visited the RCC in O'hare. Domestic terminal, and I found it acceptable.

Which one... as there are 4? If you are refering to the one around B20.. that is one of the newest in the system.

Question: going to NZ lounge

Can I get into NZ lounge even if I am flying AC?

If they are full, they may direct you back to the MLL lounge, but the success rate is usually pretty hi.

Just put on a pathetic face if required..

Yep, I brought the whole yyjregular clan in there on my last trip based on the advice from FT. Fantastic lounge, just be sure to check the hours.

The only NZ lounge I have used is the one in CHC -- but that one was indeed one of the nicest lounges I have ever been to (albeit rather small).
