Fare differences

Since I'm on hold with AC I'll ask here.

I'm trying to book a seat on AC102 on July 22nd. The Tango fare is $199 but when I go to pay it says it's $219 + tax. Is this possibly the cost with the fuel charge or is it a website glitch?

Probably website glitch. Or that fare bucket ran out in the few seconds between you looking at the fare and selecting it for payment.

No, it keeps coming up $199 when I search for it. I am tooking with TD points isntead. A330 going there, A320 (XMed) coming back. Now I just need to get a lounge cert off one very kind FTer with an extra one. :p

Happens to me too from time to time. I usually just hold one fare in a browser (Safari) then open another browser (Firefox) and look up the same fare. Usually one of them will show the lower fare so that's the one I book.

For some reason this doesn't work when opening a second tab within the same browser. I need 2 different browsers. One time in fact, I got really wild and opened Safari and Firefox in Mac OS, then IE in Windows emulation mode on my Mac. Funny enough the IE Windows session had the low fare so that's what I booked.

I don't claim to understand nor do I ask why. I simply book the low fare any way I can. :)

The error is the same for me in both FF on XP and Mac and Safari on Mac.
