missing miles?

Does anyone know a typical time frame from aeroplan to sort out missing miles? On March 16 I flew a 3 plane hop to YVR, returned March 17. I got the miles for my return, but not the outbound (though I did get the eligible flight pass credits for both ways). I filled out the missing miles form on the AP site. My concern is that the outbound is 3000 miles with my SE bonus, and I need them to book a reward trip next week. Is it really going to be 6-8 weeks as stated on the AP site?

Call the telephone number on your SE card, and press 1 for English, and then 1 again for Aeroplan (assuming you want to converse in English).

Explain the situation and ask for help.

The other option is to buy the miles that you need.

I am still waiting from a Sydney flight on the 16th or 17th so maybe there is something about that batch of flights not posting.

Almost the same thing happened to me. I had a 2 segment trip on a T+ pass on March 16, and the miles never posted (although I did get the eligible flight pass credits). I called the SE line and the agent entered the information several times (she kept getting some of error message). Once the information was successfully entered, she told me that a validation process was required and that it could take several weeks to post. I called 4 days ago and nothing has posted yet.
