AC Concierge - and luggage issues?
 

Over the last 2 years, I have had luggage problems at ORD, CDG, and most recently at LHR.

The concierges were able to deal with the luggage issues directly in Chicago and in Paris; the LHR concierges told me that they do not deal with the issues in London. They told me that some airports have concierges who are trained to deal with luggage issues; other airports's concierges are not trained to deal with these issues.

Is that true?

One of the duties of the Concierge Agent is to assist all Executive First passengers on International flights and SE's with (all) “travel and airport related matters”. In the case that you described, I’d say the Concierge Agent at LHR was simply lazy.

I had luggage issues at YYZ last week and a couple of very helpful concierges worked it out for us.:)

I don't recall reading anywhere that the concierge agents are available for Executive Class (J) International flights?
