Ever going to be a YVR-YHZ n/s again?

Several years ago, (99/2000) AC had a YVR-YHZ nonstop (A319). Loads were fairly good if I recall. Anyone know if they'll ever do another nonstop service one of these years? Maybe WestJet?

Great Circle Mapper shows YHZ-YVR at 2760 miles, which is also the range listed for the A320/A319 on aircanada.com.

When this flight did operate, I wonder how many westbound tech stops there were.

It was definitely operated nonstop summer of 1999 & possibly 2000-01.

What's YVR-BOS? That was an A319 too.

I was told today by a retired CP/AC employee that YVR-YHZ will be re-introduced. Apparently some notice in the communications he still receives as a retiree - but I haven't seen the notice myself.

If they can manage a non stop YYC-YHZ, I'd think adding an extra hour onto that to go from YVR-YHZ is doable.

I know Westjet does a direct YYC-YYT, That is around the same as YVR-YHZ So it's do-able.
Would be nice to reinstate the service.

P.S, Wardair, nice name! My Last name is Ward, My sister used to tell the F/A's that she was Max Wards Neice. They usually fell for it too.

I don't know about loads nor weirdness, but I do remember YVR-BOS nonstop on CP in the late 1990s!
If anyone flies it again, the ad slogan should be: "From BC to shining BC!"
