ac delayed and rerouted
 

just a NUBE ac15 yyz/hkg 01/03/07 rerouted and delayed re routed to yvr over4hours awaiting flight out food riot by crazed passengers ,$100 comp letter handed out what can i expect from AC ?what am i entittled too? thanks:confused: :(

You are entitled to a warm welcome to FT.

Air travel has one major complicating factor over all other modes of transportation: gravity.

So sh!t happens and sometimes you get delayed for a few hours. Be thankful you nevertheless defeated the law of gravity for the duration of your trip.

How does this happen? The YYZ-HKG route goes nowhere near YVR, so they must have let everyone know pretty early on of the change in routing, like before the plane left YYZ? Does anyone have more details, I'm curious.

Was the flight on an A343 rather than 345 by any chance?

That might expalin the unscheduled visit to YVR.

Yikes lets hope AC offered more than $100. that would be an insult.
