J Meal Changes - When?
 

They seem to have been serving the overdone Curried Salmon and Maple Glazed Chicken forever now.... when will it change?!?!?!

This week we got the meal surprise YYZ-SFO. Everyone got something different, though they did originally announce that the meal was in fact different than that (roast beef or some other kind of chicken). Still I ended up with Maple Glazed Chicken.

Last week on YVR-LAS I had crab cakes. It was surprisingly good.

I've had the crab cakes on YEG YVR a few times now. You could replace almost any meal with those on domestic J as far as I'm concerned. They were great. Had some at Gotham later that night that weren't as good.

I just flew from Maui to Calgary. Curried Salmon and Maple Glazed Chicken in J-Class. I had 90 plus AC flights in 2006, all domestic with over half of them involving meal service in J-Class. At least 75 percent of the time it was Maple Glazed Chicken and Curried Salmon....Yuck! I got to the point I starting asking for a sub from the "Buy on Board" menu. I was amazed that these requests often resulted in a confrontation from the flight attendants. It got so bad that sometimes I offered to pay the 5 bucks and they reluctantly relented. Brutal!!!
