AC Metal and Air Jamaica ticket
I've tried searching but I haven't found the answer (although it should be simple).
If I'm travelling on an AC/AJ code share on AC metal using an Air Jamaica ticket, can I still get AP points, including status points? The AC site doesn't make it clear, it just says that most flights operated by AC earn points.
Right now there is a big difference in the price for tickets at Christmas between AC and AJ and I'll definitely book on AJ if I can still get points. Anybody run into this before?

For Air Canada code-share flights operated by Air Jamaica, Avianca, EVA Air and Royal Jordanian the seats must be booked, ticketed and sold by Air Canada, and your ticket must show an Air Canada 4-digit flight number to be valid for mileage accumulation. Mileage accumulation on these code-share flights is not automated. To receive credit, please send your original boarding pass and ticket to the Aeroplan Centre.
I did find this fairly recent Air Jamaica thread:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=531501
and these threads on essentially the same topic but with with AC codeshares on BR (Eva Airlines) metal:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=605774
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=540780
So yes, you will get regular AP & Q miles on these codeshares.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't being clear.
All of the posts and threads you've referred to deal with AC codeshares on partner's aircraft. AP's site is pretty clear that you earn AP points on those, although crediting may not be automatic.
What I am asking about is AC metal with an Air Jamaica ticket. The AP site doesn't say specifically - it only says that most flight operated by AC earn points.
My guess is that these tickets would earn AP points, but I'd like to know if anyone has actually had recent experience with this.
