Yes I know those in the Prairies will start laughing at us. :o But this is way beyond my normal tolerance for the cold.

Wind chill warning for
City of Toronto continued

Wind chill values of minus 30 expected across all of southern Ontario tonight and values near minus 40 over portions of eastern Ontario tonight.

This is a warning that extreme wind chill conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

Minus 30C is the expected Air temperature at YSB tonight.
Add in windchill to that.:eek:

Is this where I add that it is presently +30c in downtown West Hollywood. Sitting in shorts and a t-shirt.

I actually had to come in because I felt as if I was getting burnt :D :D

I don't envy you. It doesn't matter how much experience you have driving in a Canadian winter if as the closer you get to Toronto the average driver has next to none and drives accordingly in what should be quite manageable conditions.:(

Plus the arsehole tractor trailer drivers who think that blizzard conditions mean that they can now push their rigs up to 140 km/hr in the fast lane because there are no MTO or OPP out there watching their activities till they jackknife.:td:

If I watched the TV correctly, the windchill will drop as low -45C according to Environment Canada's Buttonville Station by Thursday. :eek: Are we in par with the Winterpeggers yet? :confused:
