I was inspired after reading a similar thread like this one last year and so at the start of the year I just chucked together a spreadsheet - it was quite helpful in ensuring that I didn't miss out on the miles I should've got (found some missed statements that would've meant I'd have to do a MR if I hadn't caught them)...

I never read the OP as an ego thing nor do I think this is "competitive" at all - I'm interested to find out what everyone else got up to this year - I remember speaking to one flyer who had done 300k miles this year! That helped me feel normal!

If we can't talk about it here, then where else? ;)

I currently have 35,651 status miles on 11 segments for this year. Every one of those has been upgraded. One thing I have noticed is that every single one of those flights was operated with the aircraft that was supposed to operate it, so good job AC. Also another bonus is that I just realized that I have not had the pleasure of being on a 767-200 at all this year.

Although I have been upgraded 100% of the time, I should point out that all of my INTL flights were upgraded at booking (to HKG and PVG), and to get that upgrade at booking I had to travel on dates that were not my first pick. I should also mention that I booked each of those flights at least 2 months out, so my statement about I availability still stands. The rest of the upgrades were domestic and I specifically chose flights where my chances of getting an upgrade at my window were good.

I booked LAS/YYZ today and there was no availability on the 3 day flights .I am coming back a full day earlier.(probably save me money;) )

I started the year thinking that I will probably ended somewhere in the 50K area.
