Why is my status not changed to SE?

I reached 114,410 AQM and $20,155.84 AQD on my latest trip (9/29) and am expecting that I will be recognized as SE once the flights and miles registered, however, I"m still showing as E75. Any thoughts why that is?

I've checked the flights I took in 2017 and both my AQM And AQD are well below 50% for partner travel (16,967 / $2774.71) so I should be okay there.

I am also under the impression that if I reached status before 10/15 that I would be eligible for that status immediately for the balance of 2017. Is this not the case?

Is this a requirement I hadn't heard of? I thought AQM and AQD were operator agnostic (whether you accumulate and at what rate is priced in to how many of each you are credited for).

I would guess that you are still within the window of what is considered "immediately."

It was for a while before they introduced the AQD requirement.

TechTrainer, have you try calling in to AC or AP?

YOWzer report the same issue about a month ago, haven't seen an update so assume everything went okay afterward? Maybe you can try PM YOWzer to get the detail.

@alc I have not contacted AC or AP. I wanted to validate my assumption that I was eligible for an immediate status upgrade before calling.

understood, so your assumption is correct, once you met the 100K AQM or 95 AQS + $20K AQD, you should be SE100K right away and ask you to select your privileges.

So I called. Started with Air Canada as it's a reflection of my Altitude. They reviewed it and agreed that I've met the criteria though they ultimately past me over to Aeroplan saying it was in their hand to process. Aeroplan also reviewed it but said it was Air Canada that had not yet processed the update, and I should have been S100 as of 03 October. I was told that an Aeroplan supervisor will monitor the request and follow up in a couple of days if the status update hasn't been implemented. Total time was 45 minutes...

What does your dashboard on the Altitude site show for AQD AQM and status?

The Altitude Dashboard shows the numbers I posted, and my status is E75.

I was 17 days (I think) between passing SE100K requirements and my Altitude status reflecting the new status.

Saw in my dashboard that I have P25 requirements finished but my status won't upgrade till next year?
On Saturday I'll be hitting E35 requirements, so once those clear maybe ill get the early recognition as intended?

I guess they just don't grant P25 early / as soon as you hit it.

Early recognition is for E35k and above. AC never recognizes P25k early.

Won't hit 35k till Oct 20th flight, will it count?

No status at moment and won't hit 35k AQM till Oct 20th. Will I get anything or do I have to wait till March? Have 2 big trips in Feb 2018 and would like to get some privileges for em.

Welcome to FlyerTalk. If for some reason that the usual before Oct 31 didn't kick in (I will be upset too for myself) you will get the status in Dec/Jan when they send out your 2018 welcome status email and you will be able to select your 2018 Privileges and you will get them right away for stuff like eUpgrade Credits.
