Web Check in not working
So this morning I received an email from AC inviting me to use
web checkin for tomorrow's flights. For my outbound, I have a confirmed UG, so I was not too concerned about it. For my return ( YWG-YYZ) I was waitlisted for an UG, so I decided to try the web checkin to ensure I am at the top of the list. First, the AC.com webpage takes forever to load. Then, the web check-in feature does not work. If you click on the " check in now" button, nothing happens. If you try to " open it in a new web page", it just re-opens the initial welcome to web check-in page. AC IT strikes again???? |
Hmmmm, just called tech support.
they tell me if you use the " Check In Online" link on the left side of the home page, it will not work. If you use the " Check In" link in the centre of the page next to the "book on line" portion, that will work. Anyway, started my checkin in, and saw that I was already in J class, which means that at some point a controller did open more I class seats. Thumbs down to IT, Thumbs up to route controller/SE desk. |
