ZRH, FRA, LHR or WOW for TXL
Need FT style advice
Off to TXL for the first time in a couple of weeks and my checking shows 4 possible connections into Tegel. Which one of the airports/routes has the easiest/most civilized transfer?
Thanks

If so obviously LHR is first and FRA second....ZRH is pretty difficult I hear.

LHR can be a mess for transfer and is not really friendly due to terminal change and long lines. I would pick FRA. UG chances are not as good than LHR but makes a good compromise. If UG is not an issue ZRH would be my choice with the non-stop from YYZ and the AC codeshare on LX from YUL. ZRH is quite civilized and easy to go thru.

MUC and FRA are the most civil connections, and you might have enough time to use a shower in the LH lounge. I would opt for MUC over FRA for ease of connection. But depending upon the day, might be hardest to upgrade to/from. ZRH has the STAR lounge, and now adds SWISS, so lots of nice places to pass the aforementioned 3-hour connection, but upgrading is a real problem. LHR poses the problem raised by exAC, so the easiest for upgrading is the least convenient otherwise.

Thanks Guys
I knew I could count on the voices of experience. Upgrading is not really a problem so I'll go with the easiest route for the transfer. I will probably do ZRH, but it's interesting to consider MUC as a choice as well. Now that I've gotten some guidance, I'll go to war with the travel trolls at AMEX

Hi,
I use to commute between YUL/TXL every month. I was there again last week.
My selection, in order.
1. MUC
2.Zurich
3. FRA
4. VIE
WOW? You mean Warsaw (or Varsovie)? Don't do that. It will be a different terminal, at least 500m walk outside and it might be rainy or cold. Not a good idea.
LHR: Forget it...no * flight.
Good thing about MUC and FRA, is you get hourly flight between FRA/MUC to TXL. If your connection is late...your are fine. VIE is something every 2 hours.
