transit duration?
My wife and kids are flying YOW-YVR-LAX on reward seats.
They arrive in YVR at 1030 am. Their connecting flight to LAX doesn't leave till 730pm that evening. My question is; Will their bags come out at the normal baggage claim area or is there a transborder baggage claim area at YVR? Can they leave YVR for a few hours with their bags and then recheck them at the transborder checkin at around 5pm? Sitting at YVR for 8+ hours isn't fun for anyone. thanks wali |
Their bags will come out of the transborder CNX belt.

Of course, wali, why don't you suggest to your wife to try to go standby for an earlier flight to LAX since you are on a W ticket anyway? |

Yes. Well, there are worse places... like YOW. ;) Of course, wali, why don't you suggest to your wife to try to go standby for an earlier flight to LAX since you are on a W ticket anyway? With this CNX, they can meet some relatives in Vancouver. |

Yes - ask them to tag it onto to YVR. The transborder connection carousel is after US INS.
