Oldest aircraft presently flying

Here is a Monday question for trivia buffs.

What is the age of the oldest AC aircraft still flying?

C-GAUN fin 604 is also my guess....

unless an even older fin was pulled out of the Mohave Desert last year.

What ever happened to the Gimli Glider? Is it still in service?

What is the age of the Dash-8's? Some of them must be similar vintage.

Hard to believe some of the A320's are already over 15 years old.

The consensus seems to be the B767-200.

I was on one yesterday (YVR-YUL) in J(D). Let me tell you, I now understand why some others FT member try to avoid that plane. It used to be my favourite but no more. After J went from 6 to 4 rows, the legroom seems to be tight and the interior needs to be refurbished. I am not sure whether 767-200s will be redone as well.

In the meantime, I take A321 with all those green (and hard) seats any time.
I was on A321 on Saturday (YUL-YYZ-YVR) and it was an excellent flight - very comfortable cabin/seat and above-average service in J.

Yes they are all retired. The AC website has them in their former aircraft blurb.

It's too bad that they're all gone....I have to admit that they were one of my favorite short haul a/c's. With the engines and wings on top, it felt like you were in a little fighter jet or something.. ...and they had a decent J class for short haul flights.

We are talking to aircraft pulled from Mohave.Current fleet that had never been placed at Mohave w/b the Dash-8(100) that are 1983(?) vintage.
Technically the Dash8 has had more continuous service
They are really showing their age as well.Perhaps we can get the sleeper seats

As far as I know, AC is still flying a Lockheed Electra. Saw it down at YTZ last summer.
