Row 30 on 333?
Hi,
I was making my seat selections for an upcoming YYZ-LHR flight and I noticed a row "30". This row is not shown on the SeatGuru maps, and I am not sure if this is the new "exit" seat row rather than 31. Can anyone help me with this? Ive taken a risk and booked YYZ-LHR in Row 30, and LHR-YYZ in Row 31. Thanks |
Row 30 on the 333 is only available as seat D,E,F,G (middle row). No A,C,H,K for row 30. http://www.aircanada.com/en/about/fleet/seatmap/333.gif
I would rely more on the seating chart/maps provided by the carrier than seatguru if possible. |
Row 30 is a bulkhead row, and is only seats D,E,F,G (the middle seats), there are no Row 30 A,C or H,K. Row 31 A,C/H,K are the seats at the exit door. The seat map on ac.com illustrates this if I haven't explained it well.

I believe 31 AC/HK are blocked for crew. If you are looking for the bulkhead row in the middle set of 4 seats it is Row 30. The seat map is pretty clear...I also checked expertflyer.com and this is also confirmed there.

30DEFG is the bulkhead (the row in front of the movie screen); there's no 30ACHK on the A330. |
Thanks for all your replies
I checked what the exit row according to www.Zuji.com / www.travelocity.com is, and it is clearly shown as Row 31, with Row 30 being a bulkhead... which is unfortunate for people who are sitting in 31 DEFG thinking they have snapped up an exit seat :( |
Like Andrew mentioned and like many FF's will tell you that exit rows are only assigned at the airport on day of departure.

It's got maybe 8 inches less than the exit row - based on my perhaps faulty memory of last month when I was in 31H. Still tons of room and much better than a regular seat. People tend to use it as an aisle to get from one side of the plane to the other though. I'd still ask about getting moved to an exit row on the day of your flight.
