stranded in Rome

Would someone PM a copy of the PDF document of the europa.eu.int/abc/travel/flying/index_en.htm? I cannot open the pdf file at the lounge, and I want to show the agent the latest version of delay compensation.

Thanks a lot.

You can't attach a doc to a PM via Flyertalk. PM me your e-mail and i;ll do this though

Actually, i;ve managed to extract the data - the formatting is all over the shop, but it should work for you.

I left Rome on a 7am flt to FRA today and the airport was a zoo then, particularly at the LH counter as Germany had a four day weekend and the lines wre around the corner and then some for the flts to FRA and MUC. I guess the AC direct flt was delayed.

Things are pretty chaotic in Italy right now - there's another strike scheduled for tomorrow (looks like most public transportation in Rome will be shut down - also seems that airports and air traffic control could be affected).

Actually, they do apply to all airlines if the flight in question departs from an EU airport...

I am sorry if I was uncomplete in my first answer, as KVS said, these provisions applies to flights that departs from an EU airport (not the the arrivals in EU) and to all flights operated by an EU airline anywhere.

Here's franktalia's link in English:

AC has to follow these rules when it is departing an EU airport. It does not need to follow them for airlines departing Canada or anywhere else.

Just my opinion, but it would be nice when members of FT ask for help from others if they were to at least report back on what was happened, never mind the remote possibility of a thank you....

... or did Padre find that AC's handling agent in FCO is actually the mob???
