Can you send Pam and Buzz to re-education camp also? Perhaps something about the failings of communism and the workers' paradise?

Thuggery is not the exclusive preserve of union leaders.

Members of the Board flew to India on one of the airlines new, stripped down Dash 8's (stretch) and according to one member of the fight crew..."The Board members were generally well behaved on the flight although some of the Executives were upset because there was no meal service and all the got to eat for the entire fourteen (14) hour trip was a small package of seseame snacks and a cookie(s)." It was noted, however, that the entire on-board bar was drained and a fight almost broke out between an attendant and a Board member because the attendent did not have change for a $10.00 bill that was produced for a can of Coors (lite).

It's been reported that the meeting with Mr. Nahassbaalapan went very well and the Board members taked extensively with him about the future of the carrier in light of increased competition from companies such as Westjet. Mr. Nahassbaalapan, who has no experience in the airline industry but is noted for his excellence in call-center management technology, deferred the questions to his sixteen (16) cousins who, in various dialects, all promply replied..."Such matters are best left to the Gods...".

After the meeting, Air Canada Board members were treated to a traditional indian feast of curried chicken, and an array of other spicy treats. They were then promply put back on the Dash 8 (stretch) for the return flight to Toronto. Unfortunatly, high over the Pacific, the Captain regretablly made an announcement that the aircraft's ventilation system was experiencing problems and that the cabin air could not be properly vented. Board members were heard to say.."Oh well! It won't be the first time we've sat in a confided space surrounded by alot of hot air and bad odor". "This is the new AC after all...get used to it!"

Cheers
That was racist, unintelligent and even more stupid than the other one that had at least some humour.

Somehow, don't think it's going to be raise a hue and cry from the Indian community. Unlike uptight white guys, they seem to know how to laugh at themselves, as well as others.

Mr. Milton has announced that he will join the faculty of the McGill University Business School, specializing in medieval business and the related subject of employee motivation. No one at McGill was available
for comment.

While the value of the content was not thought
to be significant, it is believed that their accumulated air-miles could be used to facilitate additional outsourcing initiatives.

Air Canada employees were in a somber mood after the announcement.

On behalf of the students of all ages attending McGill: Please, please don't send him to us!!!!
Though I now know where all those missing aeroplan points over at Destina went to.
Last line definitely gives this away as a joke: the Air Canada employees I know would be throwing a wild party if they received news of this nature.

In this I must agree with Parnel. If this is the state of humour among the Canadian labour movement, then that movement which has done much for workers in the first half of the last century has lost any residual respect I may have had for it. Such racist attitudes can only reflect a desparation on the part of those who find themselves facing the bleak reality that times have changed and their movement is on the decline outside the public sector.

And you speak with what authority? [BTW it is the South Asian community if you want to classify Canadians into their sub-species, as the Indian community resides across Canada and was here before you and my relatives arrived on these shores.]

Alas, there is still a group of AC workers who don't realize that it would have been much easier for RM and his Board to shut the airline down and give the spoils out to the creditors.
