Extra Miles
 
I have 9830 Aeroplan miles with no plan to ever use them.
Is there anything I can do with them?

You can convert it to other programs using points.com.

AC has a charity miles donation program, but I am not sure what the minimum emount is. These are pretty much orphaned unless you want to consider topping your mileage up to 15K so you can get a short-hual award. This can be done by flying UA or US, or AC or any other STAR carrier, of course. From Oregon, you can get up to BC or Alberta on such an award. If there is no activity in your AE account for three years, it will be deleted from the system.

With 9830 miles you can buy a headphone, a 128Mb flash drive, a shredder or a wireless optical mouse from Future Shop. Go to the aeroplan website and checkout the 'speciality rewards' section.
