Perhaps because we know that bartering/trading/transferring Aeroplan miles is not permitted? Just a guess.

I think part of the problem is that you have 11K QF miles or 11K UA miles. I don't know of a way to transfer these without paying a significant amount of fees.

However, the Northwest miles should be enough to interest someone.

My UA miles are gone. We surrendered to the outrageous fee.
QF miles may now be transferred fee-free.
Coupon Connection is full of FTers who trade despite what MD has noted ;). Perhaps MD means that AC members obey those rules more seriously than members of other programs do.
