Getting a upgrade without asking
 

Hey Gang,

Does this happen often??? I just check my dad at the Vancouver Airport on flight AC214 from the kiosk outside in the parking lot. My dad originally had seat 13D (I think) but when I was checking him in... the ticket said 5D.... In the beginning... I thought there was a plane change (to a ZIP flight)... but when I printed out the ticket... it had a "J" in the class.

I think my dad just lucked out on his fun fare.... Anywho.... good job AC ^ ^ ^

It happens from time to time. I have had 4-5 in the past couple of years. It could possibly be due to an oversold situation at the back.

good to know they do it without asking, that's the type of service status members appretiate, it sounds like they're cleaning up their act on performing comp upgrades
