Currently there is a sale on for 40k instead of 60k to Europe. The flight I want is full for AP seats. Normally, it will cost me 100k for this. How much would it be now that the award sale is on? Will it be the same 100k or just a 40k premium?

Same question for other routes on sale now (Japan, TLV, etc).

In response to some emails I've received, the sale ends Feb 29th.

I believe it's double the required number of points for hospitality class that is not oversold, if you are Elite. All travel must be completed by Feb 29/04.

It's going to be 100K for Europe; 130K for Asia and double miles for the other destinations if you want to use instant KK for Y.

Where can I find details on this award sale? I checked the AP Elite page and couldn't find anything...

The details are on your 2003 benefit guide. There are no set 2004 award sale dates. So all the current reward sale will expire on Feb 28, 2004.

So lets say that I have AC status for the 2004 benefit year, but not the 2003 benefit year. Would I be able to take advantage of the 2003 sales until 28 Feb? If so, would NA shorthauls be on offer?

If your status is already updated in the Aeroplan system, then you can certainly do that.

Short haul NA sales are over for the 2003 benefit period. The only sales remaining are Europe/Tel Aviv/Korea/Japan.

Historically, have the award sale dates been relatively similar in time of offer? What were the sale dates again from this past year?

The reward sale dates have been almost identical in the past few years.
