The future of AC?
I found this item on Ryanair interesting.

Hm... let's hope AC doesn't think of doing any of this. Honestly, I think Ryannair is going too far -- having people put the bags on a plane? That is absolutely pathetic. Honestly, a few problems:
a) Security -- are they going to let 185 people on to the tarmac and climb into the belly of the airplane to retrieve bags? b) Balance -- where are people going to know where to place the bags? c) No seat pockets -- then where will the emergency instructions go? Oh wait, you're probably dead anyways if you fly Ryannair... d) No seat recline -- how about no pitch? Oh wait, I better not give them ideas. I guess this is all the more reason why one should not fly Ryannair... It's like a flying concentration camp! And if AC ever goes this route... well... |
some of Ryanairs new planes don't have seat pockets already. The safety cards are glued to the top of the seat in front of you.
|
I figured that much... but if they decide to put ads there...
Are they also planning to remove trays? (Or have they already disappeared?) |
Don't most business travelers try to do this anyhow? They tend to carry everything they own on board. Imagine how large the storage bins will have to be. Gets bad enough in the winter with carryon bags AND heavy coats.
Well, at least AC's unions will save us from this fate... |
Maybe they will do away with seats altogether-- passengers will be able to rent folding chairs that they can take onboard and place it on the grooves. These chairs will come with seat belts as per safety regulations and only these will fit in the precut grooves. Imagine the savings and the extra rental revenue!!!( extra penalty for passengers who do not bring the seats off the plane)-- the ticket to CDG will be 10GBP--seat rental will be 85GBP!!Ryanair--are you listening?-- I have more ideas where that came from!

If Ryanair continue down this route it will be more comfortable to travel in a lorry full of cattle or sheep. At least they have EU legislation to protect their animal rights!!
